Commercial Grouphead

The Bezzera BZ10's grouphead contains two heating elements and a thermostat. All of that is to create an even heating surface and increase temperature stability.

The BZ10 group requires no maintenance; it has no moving parts unlike other machines in the same class that use an E61 group which has mechanical valves and demands regular maintenance or replacement.

Heat-Exchanging Boiler

The Bezzera BZ10P is fitted with a 1.5 liter copper boiler with heat exchanger system. It means you can steam milk and extract espresso at the same time. The high 1200-watt heating element is controlled by a pressurestat to maintain a constant temperature.

Dual Purpose Gauge

The gauge on the Bezzera BZ10 serves two purposes. The upper half of the gauge shows boiler pressure while the lower half indicates pressure in the grouphead during extraction. This dual-purpose gauge is a great feedback tool.

Vibratory Pump

The Bezzera BZ10P boasts a powerful vibratory pump rated at 15 BAR of pressure to extract maximum flavour from the coffee beans.

3-Way Solenoid Valve

The three-way solenoid valve relieves pressure and sucks out the water in the grouphead when you've finished extracting your espresso. This means the portafilter (handle) can immediately be removed, re-filled with coffee and replaced to quickly start with the next brew cycle.

Steam and Hot Water Wands

A multi-directional steam wand has an excellent range of motion for ease of use. It creates fine and creamy milk foam effortlessly for your cappuccino and latte. Hot water wand is also on a ball joint making it easy to pour water into a cup.

On/Off Push Button

The grouphead is controlled by a simple push button that activates the vibration pump and opens the group solenoid valve to deliver coffee. Once the desired quantity is reached, press the push-button again to stop brewing.

Automatic Water Refill

The boiler of the Bezzera BZ10P comes with an automatic water-refill feature that allows an uninterrupted supply of scrumptious espresso, americano, cappuccino, caffe latte and much more.
